Extraordinary Ministers of Holy CommunionExtraordinary Minister of Holy Communion (EMHC) –Because of its importance, the role of EMHC requires permission and the greatest scrutiny. After attending a class and being judged qualified, you would generally be expected to be available twice to three times a month to distribute the Eucharist. You must be a registered parishioner and a Catholic in good standing.

LectorsOur readers are scheduled to read at one or two masses per month. As with the role of Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, a training class and permission are required

Ministers of Hospitality (Ushers)
This ministry is comprised of greeters and ushers at weekend Masses and other Archdiocesan events. These individuals volunteer their time to greet parishioners, welcome the many visitors to the Cathedral, assist in gathering weekly collections, and work to keep the overall environment of the cathedral pleasant and orderly.
